Regardless of how you are heating your property a well maintained and healthy heat pump system will be more efficient and cost effective.
The world of renewables has brought with it some fantastic opportunities for sustainable and energy-efficient heating, not least air source heat pumps (also known as ASHPs). Functionally, air source heating systems absorb heat from the outside air – even at temperatures as low as -15°C - using refrigerant gas to circulate it through a network of tubes, before compressing the gas to change this from a cold gas to a hot liquid. This is then passed through a converter to provide heat for radiators, underfloor heating systems or warm air convectors. Whilst air source heating systems require some electricity to operate, the heat generated far outweighs the power required to run the system efficiently, meaning this sustainable appliance won’t mean you have to break the bank either.
The pinnacle of renewable home heating, home heat pumps are much better for the environment than traditional fossil fuel burning, which is one of the leading causes of harmful emissions within the domestic space. Matters are so concerning that the government offers various grant schemes to make the switch even more advantageous - which our team are happy to discuss your eligibility for. In addition to offering our extensive product and industry knowledge to help you make the right selection of domestic heat pumps, Cambridge Clean Heat will work to understand your current usage needs and what they may look like in the future, to make a recommendation that continues to deliver.
We recommend an annual service to ensure that your heat pump is running at its best and to maintain product warranties.
